Moscato d’Asti

Whether you’re a regular bubble drinker or not, it will be hard not to fall in love with this wine. There’s no mystery to it, it’s so easy to drink, incredibly refreshing, light and bubbly – you’ll never have to think twice about pouring a glass.
Moscato d’Asti is a DOCG sparkling white wine made from the Moscato bianco grape and traditionally produced in the province of Asti. Moscato bianco is considered one of the oldest grapes grown in Piedmont – it’s about a thousand years older than Cabernet Sauvignon, eventhough it’s never received the same fame.
What inspired us to make a wine like this? Moscato d’Asti, made in the frizzante style, was the wine that winemakers made for themselves in this region – so here we are making some summer bubbles for us and happy to share it with the rest of you!
Expect a nose full of apricots and orange blossoms, and a mouth full of peach, lemon and lime. The frizzante style feels like a softer carbonation and when combined with a balanced acidity it leaves the flavours tingling on your tongue. With only 9.5% alc/vol and a semi sweet finish it’s perfect for the upcoming hot summer days.
