A Chilean Summer

Home to a lengthy coastline down the western seaboard of South America with the Atacama desert to the North and cool Patagonia to the South, Chile offers a very diverse climate. Its wine growing valleys are mainly found in a small central belt of the country where grapes can find a more moderate climate to grow in.

Ten years ago we imported our first grapes from Chile, and with years of unparalleled quality and consistency we continue our now long-term relationship with the country and its talented grape growers.

We have always been big fans of the infamous long lost Carmnre. Once mistaken for Merlot but now carries its name and characteristics with great pride. Some love it for its more rustic qualities and vibrant spicy notes, while others at VDG love it for its unbeatable price of $170/ 20ltrs (26 bottles).

If you’re a white wine lover, Casablanca Valley produces some of the best Chilean Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and we’ve got plenty in stock for you! A crisp Sauvignon Blanc with citrus and tropical notes and a buttery, slightly oaked Chardonnay at a very affordable price of $109/20ltrs – under $4.50/bottle! Both dangerously delicious and easy to drink wines that will have you sipping away on the dock or as you entertain your friends at home. Place your order today!
